当谈到家庭对转会的影响时，周鹏说道：“家庭给我的影响就是我留在了广东，毕竟成家立业，有了小孩，还有父母要赡养，所以说家庭的因素是我第一个选择的项目。然后有了工作上的变故，有了职业生涯的变故，家人还是挺理解我的，他们尊重我的选择。我排除了很多俱乐部是因为我要留在家里，留在广东。”
